Let's start your journeyIf you are not a UK citizen or resident, Irish citizen, or reside in the UK under schemes such as EU Settlement Scheme. You are likely to require a visa to enter and stay in the country.
There is no set cost to studying in the UK as it can depend on the institute and the level, duration and type of course you are studying. Generally, you can expect tuition fees to start from £12,000/year.
Accommodation and living expenses would be separate.
Once you have successfully finished your course, you can apply for a 2-year graduate visa. This means you can stay and work in the UK without a sponsor for 2 years. After this, you will need a sponsor in order to remain in the UK.
Apart from university and admission fees, there may be additional costs to consider such as:

• Health checks and/or vaccinations

Unless have already studied in the UK or are from a majority English-speaking country such as USA or Australia, you will need to prove your knowledge of English when you apply.
You can prove your knowledge of English by:
• Passing a Secure English Language Test (SELT) from an approved provider
• Having a GCSE, A level, Scottish National Qualification level 4 or 5, Scottish Higher or Advanced Higher in English, gained through study at a UK school that you began when you were under 18.
The score you need will be dependant on the course you are applying for.
